Yes. AUDE is declared of Public Utility and governed by Law 49/2002, so your donations are deductible: 80% on the first €250 per year and 40% on the rest (45% if you donate for 3 years running). We issue the corresponding tax certificate.

The average cost of one year of study in Rwanda is about €1,200. With €100/month you fund a full scholarship; with €20/month, as a group with other members, you also make a whole scholarship possible.

Funds reach Rwanda through the account of the Archdiocese of Kigali, under whose umbrella the local committee works, and from there they are paid straight to the universities and institutions: tuition, materials and living costs. A dual committee (in Madrid and Kigali) oversees the selection and follow-up of each student, and we publish our accounts every year.

It's our model: once the funded student graduates and starts working, they commit to funding a new student. So each scholarship sets off a continuous cycle of solidarity.

No. All our current students already have members funding them, and we only take on a new student when we are sure we can support them until they finish their degree. So you become a member first and, when we select the new students, we introduce you to yours.

AUDE (University Association for the Development of Africa) is the legal entity, with Tax ID G87507265. "Futurum Africa" is the brand we use to spread the project and channel some donations. Your tax certificate and payments are always managed by AUDE.

Yes, to the solidarity code 12343. If you'd like your tax certificate, write to us afterwards with your name and ID number so we can issue it.
